yoghurt? or is that muller? .

No.

GladioliBuckets · 22/01/2010 16:11

Oh come on, it could be worse. It's pretty innocuous as American surname names go.

LetThereBeRock · 22/01/2010 16:12

Yes it could be worse, it could always be worse but that still doesn't mean it's a good name.

DecorHate · 22/01/2010 16:16

Would always think of the beer tbh

CuppaTeaJanice · 22/01/2010 16:29

I like Milla for a girl, not sure about Miller for a boy though.

...assuming it's for a boy.

Especially if you already have a Bella.

boodleboot · 22/01/2010 16:33

I actually have a friend who has a son Miller, 3, and he only ever has lovely things said about his name.....i think it is cute....i quite like some surnames as first names.....i am a bit in love with Wilson you see (Big House freak...)

weegiemum · 22/01/2010 16:35

I think its one of the surnames which will never really make the transition to first names.

Openbook · 22/01/2010 16:51

Quite like it. Seems fine for a child, young person and adult.

OttersOnIce · 22/01/2010 16:56

Maybe he'll be good with flour.

izzybiz · 22/01/2010 16:59

Boodleboot - Wilson is his surname, and James is his first name.

CantSleepWontSleep · 22/01/2010 18:01

I surprise myself by quite liking this. We had a very nice man working on our drive last year called Miller. I assumed at the time that it was his surname that he was known by, but now wonder if it was actually his Christian name.

DiamondHead · 22/01/2010 19:59

It's Miller time.

boodleboot · 22/01/2010 22:34

erm purpleturtle thanks for stating the obvious fact about James Wilson....

randomimposter · 23/01/2010 06:40

I really like Miller as a name. I also like Bailey, but not Tyler or Tailor.

boodle read that first as Big House (what's that I thought) rather than a big fan of House, ditto btw...
can'tsleepwon'tsleep hope you charged him rent, cheek of people setting up workstations wherever they like....

skymoo · 23/01/2010 07:20

My mates DH is Millar, and I've always liked it - I'm thinking it may be Irish, 'cos he is

Flightattendant · 23/01/2010 08:26

Strangely I prefer it for a girl, with an a at the end.

Or you could go cultchural and European with 'Mouli'

Flightattendant · 23/01/2010 08:27

yes it is beer, too true.

That thought puts me right off.

BigusBumus · 23/01/2010 08:30

I always liked Milan. As in Milan Kundera.

But I rejected it as I knew my son would always be in for a lifetime of being called Milaaaaan (like the Italian city).

Vivia · 23/01/2010 13:17

Yes!

jellybeans · 23/01/2010 14:35

No

janeite · 23/01/2010 14:38
