My 5 mnth old son is called Miller, I love it and have only had positive things said, think its quite a strong name.

Stella McCartney called her kids Miller & Bailey.

Love both names in a timeless classic, Margaret Howell, Ercol kind of way. Makes me think of cute kids in Petit Bateau breton tops with creative parents.

Nickname more likely to be Mil I would have thought.

Hmm.. Miller... I like it!

Millen is nicer.

You would just have a ready made nickname in 'Windy' wouldn't you

i see windmills!

i don't get profession names. and as for cooper, i just think of some ol' guy in an apron in a barn making a barrel... seems a bit mad to me! jmvho

No, Miller not Irish.

NN potential is Millie.
I don't like it as a first name.

You could only call someone Mouli if their sister was Miele.

I always liked Milan. As in Milan Kundera.

But I rejected it as I knew my son would always be in for a lifetime of being called Milaaaaan (like the Italian city).

Flightattendant · 23/01/2010 08:27

yes it is beer, too true.

That thought puts me right off.

Flightattendant · 23/01/2010 08:26

Strangely I prefer it for a girl, with an a at the end.

Or you could go cultchural and European with 'Mouli'
