Recently dealt with a woman at work who had called her daughter Beau - all very well but unfortunately this was teamed with the surname Lock.
I wonder sometimes if people think through how names will work together.

Boy up the road is called Joe King - my kids took a good 10 years to put two and two together lol

I used to work with a Peter Filan (pronounced File-en) who was Irish so prnponced it more like Peeder Filan (ignore my naff phonetic spelling!!) and he was infact a Peadiatrician!!! honestly!! His brother is also in DDs favourite boy band lol

I went to uni with an Edward Ward. We called him Ed - Ed Ward!

I also know an Alison, known as Ali, who married and changed her surname to Slinn - Ali Slinn!

I met the presenter Wayne Kerr once and tbh he was living up to his name

I still think my mil had a sauce fetish with the names she chose for dp and dbil, Lee and Perry

Half of these I didn't get at first, so when naming ds it helped that my partner was a teacher with a somewhat juvenile sense of humour he kept saying "oh no they'll get called this... at school" to my choices.

had a teahcer at school though Mr Nice not too bad you think except he insisted it was pronounced neece, his initial was P - I got that one!
