Would mayve second the vote for Cian/Kian but Kyan isnt terrible heard alot worse think ppl are just wary as it is unusual and does seem made up but if it wasnt I think it would be a lot more favourable. I guess all names had to start somewhere!

My neighbour's grandson is called Kyan. I keep mixing it up with Kieran.
er, what about Alexander or Timothy instead.

I kind of like Kyan. Helps that there is an incredibly hot guy (although unfortunately gay) on the American show Queer Eye for the Straight Guy.

Thanks, ladies. It's interesting to do a random straw poll like this, as in people who I've ran it by in RL have liked it (people who would be straight with me, btw). I'm not sure of my thoughts about it, but it's not made up, at least not by me (re: 'Queer eye...). Have vaguely thought about similar names eg Kiron.

Chav - paolosgirl's right, it's not to do with class, but perhaps more to do with social ettiquette and education as well as fashion and attitude. I think it could be assumed that 'chavs' don't adhere to social niceties, do dress in shell-suits/trakkies/baseball caps/trainers
