what will we do? Where am I going to find a name from? Who wants the dubious honour of picking one for me?

I second that swedes. Very lovely (and still quite uncommon I'd say).

Beth is lovely. As is Cara and they go with your other names too. Alice is nice but can you see a 30year old called Alice????

Clarissimo · 11/01/2009 17:03

'30year old called Alice???? '

Alice Cooper?

singyswife · 11/01/2009 17:10

Yeah I am sure that will put the op off the name. Alice is nice I just always think that people should look past them being children and think about them going for interviews and stuff (the celebs are the worst for this). Haveing said that I know a woman who is 30ish and is called Alice.

Alice May

Alice Joy

Alice Rachel

Alice Niamh

Alice Ruth

Alice Rebecca

Alice Beth

Catriona ? (pronounced Catrina)

loobylu3 · 11/01/2009 17:46

Of course Alice suits a little girl as well as an adult! My sister of nearly 28 years is an Alice. There are lot of other far more 'little girl' names which are poplular at the moment.

janeite · 11/01/2009 19:16

I was picked on at school by somebody called Catriona and can't disassociate the name from the person. Hers had the "O" sound pronounced.
