Hi lovely MN,

Baby due later this year do you prefer the name:

Sienna
or
Autumn
or
Daisy

which do you prefer? Do they give off different vibes?
Thank you ☺️

Sienna. Have only ever met one, her family called her Nenna ❤️ Think it's a name which works for all ages and stages.

SecretSquirrelSect · 10/07/2026 11:44

I find Sienna an odd one as it is used by the v posh ie Miller and royalty (so was Autumn !) But I think despite that it has an air of fashion and fad about it.

I prefer traditional names so would go for Daisy.

24Dogcuddler · 10/07/2026 11:46

I like Daisy best.

This is what I meant but put much more eloquently!

Purplecatshopaholic · 10/07/2026 12:03

Love all three. I’d pick Daisy.

DramaAlpaca · 10/07/2026 12:03

Daisy is just a bit too twee, but it's pretty.

I don't like Autumn as a name.

I'd choose Sienna.

Nousernameideaaga · 10/07/2026 12:04

Daisy

Sparklinggreen · 10/07/2026 13:02

Sienna by far

not a fan of the others

thisandthats · 10/07/2026 13:04

Love all.

Autumn my fave because it could work whether she wanted to be an artist or a CEO. I could imagine an autumn being effortlessly popular.

pouletvous · 10/07/2026 13:05

Bit trendy. They will date

Agree

I like Daisy. It's the classiest imo. I know Sienna and Autumn have been used by royalty but imo they still sound a bit "the other c word".

I agree with this OP.

Neither Sienna nor Autumn fall into the classic names bucket imo and I think they will be the Sheilas and Brendas of the future.

They aren't awful names but not my style.

Daisy is fine - a bit wet as a bc name though. Why not go with Margaret, for which it is short, and call her Daisy?

I'd agree but can't see the point of registering Daisy as Margaret or a Lily as Elizabeth
I don't think Daisy is any more wet than Lily or the other flower names.

They'll just be ordinary names when they're adults.

AutumnAllTheWay · 10/07/2026 14:35

Like Autumn

Then Daisy

Well this a perennial debate on MN. Some are of the options line of thought and others don't see the need.

^^

Autumn hands down.

Cheese55 · 10/07/2026 14:55

Daisy too common. They'll be at least one at nursery and then school.

Peanutlicious · 10/07/2026 16:03

All lovely, how about using two: Autumn Sienna

cramptramp · 10/07/2026 16:04

Sienna. Daisy is nice for a young child or person.

HoldMyWine · 10/07/2026 16:05

Daisy. It’s pretty and classic.

17caterpillars1mouse · 10/07/2026 16:06

Autumn is my favourite

I find Daisy a bit twee and ive never met a Sienna who wasnt mean / a bully so that puts me off

DizziLizzy · 10/07/2026 16:20

Sienna is lovely. Autumn is nice too. Daisy isn't a great name beyond 8years old.

KayEmAy · 10/07/2026 17:54

Daisy is my favorite, followed by Sienna

Silverbirchleaf · 10/07/2026 17:59

Three lovely names. If I had to rank them, I’d go:
Daisy, Sienna. Autumn , which actually sound lovely together.

EnidVance · 10/07/2026 18:51

Sienna and Daisy are just a bit meh, they’re so common.
