Hi lovely MN,

Baby due later this year do you prefer the name:

Sienna
or
Autumn
or
Daisy

which do you prefer? Do they give off different vibes?
Thank you ☺️

Daisy or Sienna. I think kids called Autumn right now in this heatwave sounds crazy

cannibalfish · 10/07/2026 07:56

Autumn is my favourite. It’s a very pretty name.

Sienna is fine.

Daisy is a bit of a ditzy name to me.

newberry · 10/07/2026 07:56

I think Sienna and Autumn are a similar vibe, kinda eco-trendy. Daisy is different, a lil bit more straightforward and traditional - definitely my favourite one. It's a lovely name, I'd go Daisy!

dizzydizzydizzy · 10/07/2026 07:56

For me, Sienna or Daisy. But it’s personal taste. I like traditional names like Matthew, Alexander and Elizabeth, so there is absolutely no way I would ever choose Autumn. But if you like it, that is all that matters because it is a perfectly reasonable name.

I like Daisy. It's the classiest imo. I know Sienna and Autumn have been used by royalty but imo they still sound a bit "the other c word".

BookishBobby · 10/07/2026 08:00

Daisy is my favourite. Sorry but not keen on the other two names

ShetlandishMum · 10/07/2026 08:08

Daisy.

OvernightBloats · 10/07/2026 08:09

Daisy

DreamingOfGeneHunt · 10/07/2026 08:11

Autumn is lovely. I knew an Autumn at school in the 80s and always liked it.

FlamingJune2026 · 10/07/2026 08:11

Sienna.

Daisy is a bit twee.

Betadelta · 10/07/2026 08:11

I like all three. I'd probably choose Daisy.

PancakeCloud · 10/07/2026 08:15

Autumn Sienna

MassiveOvaryaction · 10/07/2026 08:18

Daisy was on my girl name list so I guess I'm biased.
Autumn ok if that's when they're actually born, otherwise a bit odd imo.

Strawberrycheesecake7 · 10/07/2026 08:26

I quite like them all. If I had to choose probably Daisy.

user1492757084 · 10/07/2026 08:27

All three are perfect.

AgnesMcDoo · 10/07/2026 08:28

Daisy. I don’t love it but it’s better than the other two.

SummerInSun · 10/07/2026 08:32

All lovely. But I always apply the “will this name work when she is the CEO / senior consultant / interviewing the PM on Newsnight / being PM” test. While Daisy is lovely for a little girl, for me it doesn’t pass that test of being taken seriously as an adult nearly as easily as the other two.

StationJack · 10/07/2026 09:56

Daisy is ok.
Not keen on Autumn (too seasonal) or Sienna (seems a bit trendy and not likely to date well).

Mumofgirls2017 · 10/07/2026 10:45

love the name Daisy. It’s happy, playful, pretty, but also a bit sassy. Fits adult or child. And you can find lots of things with daisies on!

love autumn too, pretty name though may in future become dated

im not a fan of sienna. I find it blah and faddy.

Cocktailsandcheese · 10/07/2026 11:09

Autumn or Daisy. Sienna is my least favourite.

DinoDances · 10/07/2026 11:33

I love the name Autumn, I'd pick that. I also like Sienna but there's a lot round me (North East London). Daisy is not to my taste, but I have a friend in her 30s called Daisy who does perfectly well in her career as an adult, her name has never hindered her.

bettyboo9 · 10/07/2026 11:33

All lovely

WonderWeeksArentReal · 10/07/2026 11:39

Order of preference:

Sienna
Autumn
Daisy (quite popular where I live and so has become a bit meh)

inkgirl · 10/07/2026 11:41

I quite like Autumn
