Help I don't like any boy names

Just found out today I'm having another boy, I'm gutted not to be using my girl name as I was convinced this was going to be a girl. I have both a girl and boy already, and really struggled last time, I ended up just letting my partner choose his name because I didn't like any of the thousands of names I looked at. I didn't love the name he chose, but it has grown on me and it suits our little boy and everyone loves it.

I don't like anything that comes up on the naming websites or google searches; looking for uncommon/unusual but not weird/made up names

Just use a unisex name like Robin.

I love the French name, Remi.

Just wanted to update and say thank you to those who have given their thoughts; unfortunately I still can't find anything I remotely feel anything towards. I have decided to book myself in with the perinatal mental health team after a discussion with a family member as I/they think much of this is down to severe gender disappointment and never feeling like I am a boy mum and now I'll have 2, it seems to be much deeper rooted than just picking a name. Thankyou again, hopefully some of the suggestions may help others that are stuck on names too ❤️

That sounds like a sensible idea,@SometimesIcantsleep, I really hope it helps. Some people can be very dismissive of gender disappointment - I can see both sides, but ultimately you can't help the way you feel and talking through your feelings with someone may help process them. Wishing you all the best.

Thankyou, I appreciate your response. I actually really hate the term gender disappointment, because it makes it feel really shallow and superficial when the reality is for me especially it is so much deeper than that. I wouldn't actually say I've felt disappointed at all, the feeling is much heavier than that. Since I posted this I've felt so many different emotions, it's bought back lots of feelings that I had when I found out my second was a boy. I won't go into it too much, but along the lines of struggling to accept it was even my baby inside me, everything felt wrong. It's actually really hard to put into words. It's a hard thing to admit because you are opening yourself up to a lot of judgement too ❤️ thankfully I couldn't love either of my kids any more if I tried so I know this feeling will pass as soon as they are here, it's just hard navigating it with all the other hormones too ❤️

Name him when he’s born. Rather than thinking of name before see what he looks like when you hold him!
