Sister for Chester?

Just that really! We are after a girl name to go with big brother Chester.

I’m not a fan of really girly names like flower names etc, or the popular, older names like Margot, Florence, Elsie (Old lady names as DH says!), we can’t have anything ending in the a sound (Olivia, Ava, etc.), purely because of our accent! Our surname also counts out anything beginning with L.

Any ideas!?

@BootballJoy
Chester is a name from the 1880s to 1920s. It's the epitome of Old Man names. You could not pick a more Old Man name if you tried.

It goes with Clyde, Clive, Stanley, Ernest, Herbert, Norris, Cecil, Cyril, and Hubert.

I can only find that it was popular in the US around that time? I have never known an old man Chester and I am well into my middle age-hood!

Just done some googling - relatively low births in the UK - 77 births throughout the 1880s if this site is accurate? Happy to be corrected!

I thought it was more following the surname trend like Spencer etc.

Thank you for all of your suggestions - I did spot a few I liked, and actually laughed at some of the sarcastic ones!

DS is actually named after his GG Grandfather (although interestingly, he wasn’t born in the UK so the figures might not apply here), so yes technically he has an old man name, I’m just not into old lady names! 😂

Thanks everyone!

(That’s mean. Paris is actually a name.)

Wouldn’t be my choice but I worked with a Paris once and loved her name. She was so glamorous and it really suited her.
