Middle name for Gia?

Hi!

Baby girl is due any day now and we have officially settled on Gia (Jee-a).

I am loving Gia Rosalie Yates but the husband is going with Gia Eliza Yates.

Help is appreciated!

TO BE CLEAR - I am not looking for any negative opinions on the name Gia. That’s her name and any advice on her name will just be unnecessary.

Many go two weeks over their due date. If they didn’t, inductions wouldn’t be so commonplace.

Kindly OP, but some of us made honest mistakes giving suggestions after you had your baby and this happens all the time on Mumsnet. I’m genuinely sorry if you took it as being negative but you did ask about middle names. Many of us said Gia is a lovely name.

I would probably ask for the thread to be taken down if you don’t want any more comments on the name. I asked about both of my DC’s names on here and still sometimes get negative and quite rude comments despite both names being fairly popular in the top 50- but I know it comes with the territory of asking MN for their opinion. Some make me laugh tbh now. Names won’t be everyone’s cup of tea.

@NimbleGoldFox I gave an opinion on middle names - just so happened to mention Gia is lovely, twice. Fair enough if the OP meant “Don’t you dare tell me it’s a nice name.” But not wanting an opinion on a name usually means they don’t want criticism surely.

Anyway, the baby has been named so I’ve clicked unwatch on this now.
