Evan or Owen

Which of these names is your favourite? What type of person do you associate them with?

The middle name will be Francis after a family member.

@Tkoko , Euan is Scottish, Ifan and Owain are Welsh.

Ifan and Owain are the traditional spellings, but they got anglicised as Evan and Owen. The original versions are popular in Wales. I'm guessing that you are not in the UK - your post came across as saying that
Volodymyr was a strange spelling of Vladimir or something.

I think Euan/Ewan is an anglicised form of a Scottish name.
