What does the name Alfie make you think of?

I think its a classic boys name and its one of my current favourites. My husband says he just thinks of Alfie Moon from Eastenders and thinks its a bit of a common name for that reason. I've never watched Eastenders so don't have these connotations! Will everyone else?

It was an "old man" name noone would use for most of my life and it was nice to see it come back on the 100 year cycle.

I know 2. They ride scrambler bikes with balaclavas on and their mates are called Lewy, Spencer, Jake and Leon.

I know Alfie's of all classes so I disagree that it's solely a balaclava/e scooter name.

It's just very popular which would stop me using it, but it's a good name.

I think of a cockney market trader, but I picture an old man not a young boy!

I have a 9 yr old called Alfred (Alfie) he is the only one in his school but the are multiple Albies.
I love his name obviously but we do come across a hell of a lot of dogs called alfie, which my son loves btw.

Cute name. I would, if pushed, think of the Cilla Black song/the film but never of EE.

And it's short for Alfred, not a name on it's own for me.

I think of the Lily Allen song and Alfie Moon but I still think it is a nice name.

It makes me think there's too many kids called Alfie on my council estate. Likewise Darcy for a girl. It's all I bloody hear being yelled by mothers in their PJs in the supermarket.

second thought: lively 7-8 y.o boy with curly hair
third thought : or is a pet name for Alfred ? I’m not keen on name Alfred much.
