I've got a Gethin. We live in England and I wanted a name that was easily pronouncable while still being clearly Welsh. Same with DDs name.

We are England too, but DH is welsh. This is why Elis was a good option for DS1, as easy to pronounce. I had Nia and Mali on my girls list, but I’m struggling for boys names at the mo!

Macsen. I can see why it has increased so much in use - cool history, cool nn (Mac/Max) and fairly simple to say and spell outside Wales too. If we were Welsh speaking (instead of just living in Wales), it would have been top of my boys list - I can imagine a little boy would love it, but I think it works on adults too.
