She’s a few weeks old. Can’t decide on a name, so please help by suggesting any pretty/lovely girl names you’ve come across in your years.

We like uncommon (but not ridiculous).

There are so many pretty names mentioned above, however, I am seeing them mentioned so often here that I think they may not meet your brief of uncommon - I'm particularly thinking of Iris, Maeve, Niamh, Orla, Ottilie, and variations of Sophia, Sophie etc. This is not a criticism of any of them, in fact I may own one myself, just that I can see all of them possibly trending over the next while and some have probably trended already.

One name mentioned above that I really like is Serena, really suited the girl I was in school with briefly. Also love Caroline, Emma, Jenna/Jennifer, Juliet, Laura, Linda, Marianne, Oonagh/Una.

My daughter’s name is Tabitha. She was going to be Rose all through my pregnancy but looking at her little face, Rose just didn’t fit. Tabitha is a Hebrew name and she doesn’t come across any others very often at all. Good luck and congratulations OP!
