Theo
Felix
Caius

Or any suggestions welcome at all!

Thanks

Clem sounds like a girls name
Caius dont like
Felix is ok but makes me think of a cat
Theo I like
so I would go for Theo

pointydog · 18/04/2008 23:07

Clem - sounds like a girl
Theo - old man
Felix - a bit bodenesque
Caius - not heard of it, sounds cold

CeilingCat · 18/04/2008 23:08

Caius as in college? I like it.

Tinker · 18/04/2008 23:10

None, sorry.

Janni · 18/04/2008 23:18

Sorry, don't like any of them, but if you held a gun to my head I would say Clem.

harpomarx · 18/04/2008 23:18

Clem is boy as far as i know but famously grumpy old man in our family.

felix is cute - I don't just think of cat. oh, ok, a bit.

how do you pronounce Caius, wouldn't he get called Chaos? (by ignorant people like me I mean!)

Janni · 18/04/2008 23:19

How about Calum?

MaryAnnSingleton · 18/04/2008 23:19

Theo is best, followed by Felix - don't like Caius -put off by woman at a swimming pool with son of that name

ButterflyMcQueen · 18/04/2008 23:21

lovely choices

I like Caius and Clem and would prob go for former

felix and theo lovely but popular

3andnomore · 18/04/2008 23:22

Theo or Felix would work well

3andnomore · 18/04/2008 23:22

is Clem short for Clemece by the way?

Woollymummy · 18/04/2008 23:23

Theo is best, I have a little nephew Theo. Then Felix, it means Happy and the more people called that the better, then fewer people will just think of cat food. Clem is a wet poncy sort of name, in my mind anyway, and Caius, the poor guy would only be able to live in Cambridge, everywhere else he would have to keep spelling out his name repepatedly and he would hate you for it

MaryAnnSingleton · 18/04/2008 23:23

Clement I think

petetong · 18/04/2008 23:23

How about Scott, Callum or Liam.

WowOoo · 18/04/2008 23:25

Like Felix. Nice meaning. Depends on surname though.

Spidermama · 18/04/2008 23:25

I like Clem, Theo and Felix. I don't know the other one. Is it pronounced Ki-us?

As long as you don't mind the fact that people won't be able to pornounce it when written down, then it's fine. (I have an eight year old with a name no-one can pronounce until they're told how. I don't mind much and he doesn't seem to. It's worth it because it's such a fab name but I would still say think that aspect through.)

Fimbo · 18/04/2008 23:25

I like Campbell (silent p btw!)

3andnomore · 18/04/2008 23:26

that was meant to be Clemence, btw, not Clemece....lol....
Clement...hm...

do have an uncle Clemence....still don't like it, nor do I like Clement....

Clem- as a german to me sounds to much like Klemm (same pronounciation)....klemmen means holding somehting together in a tight grip....

Janni · 18/04/2008 23:37

Petetong - I was trying to remember if it was Calum or Callum.

OP - you seem to like short names.

Other possibilities which I like:

Jude
Adam
Liam
Joel
Sam

petetong · 18/04/2008 23:38

I take it nobody likes Scott, Callum or Liam then? Are these bad boy names?

Janni · 18/04/2008 23:38

I know lots of people like Felix, but to me it always says 'cat'

petetong · 18/04/2008 23:38

Sorry Janni, x posted.

Janni · 18/04/2008 23:40
Smile
AbbeyA · 18/04/2008 23:44

Sorry-I don't like any.
