Felix
Caius

Or any suggestions welcome at all!

Thanks

How would you pronounce Caius? As Kai-us or Keys? I think Caius looks good, but as Keys sounds odd. Think it is just too strange. really.

I think Clem, short for Clement, is great and had it on my list for DS2. I also quite like Theo. Felix I just don't like.

MaryAnnSingleton · 19/04/2008 08:27

Jude is nice too..I also like Eric for some reason ! petetong - no, don't like those names- apologies to anyone who has chosen them

sweetkitty · 19/04/2008 08:29

Like Theo the best.

cece · 19/04/2008 08:32

Sorry not keen on any. In particular Clem, makes me think of phlegm!

MrsMattie · 19/04/2008 08:32

Only like Theo

dizzydixies · 19/04/2008 08:41

I thought Clem was short for Clementine?

what about Cassius, nn Cass? I loved that

others I liked were

Roan
Jude
corin
Caleb

Slacker · 19/04/2008 09:04

Theo and Felix are great, Clement also. Not sure about Caius

CeilingCat · 19/04/2008 11:26

Oooh Cassius is good DD.

artichokes · 19/04/2008 11:30

Clem - as others have said this is feminine sounding and poncy. Reminds me of Labour prime minister Clem Atlee.
Theo - OK
Felix - OK
Caius - uber poncy. Makes it sound like you went to Cambridge and want everyone to know it.

Nbg · 19/04/2008 11:30

I like Felix, actually wanted that for my ds's but dh wouldnt approve.

I also like Oscar, Milo, Dexter, Pax, Mack, Miles and loads more.

branflake81 · 19/04/2008 13:55

No disrespect, I don't like any of them. They rather smack of desperately trying to find a "different" name.

Clem - really don't like, sounds too Emmerdale/Archers old man woolly hat straw in mouth, also sounds like 'clam'
Theo - pleasant but popular
Felix - love it, also popular
Caius - quite like it

How about Kester? I know someone with a little Kester and it really suits him...it's an old Gaelic name apparently.

ButterflyMcQueen · 19/04/2008 14:58

touché hatrick!

MaryAnnSingleton · 19/04/2008 15:08

yes, I know of a Kester...nice name, or what about Kit...

devonsmummy · 19/04/2008 21:21

Love Clem but would need to be a boy-boy to carry off the name.

Theo was on my shortlist but vetoed by DH.

Felix - cat
Caius - don't know how to pronounce it - I would guess Kai us

wolveschick · 19/04/2008 21:36

Theo the best but am always reminded of the Trio chocolate as and want to shout 'Theo.......Theeeeeeeeeeeeeo' when I hear the name. I have an unusual name which I always have to spell/explain and 35 years on it does become a chore. Thanks Mum!
