Full disclosure: the babies we are naming are hens, not humans, so no need to worry about school bullying or job applications

Obviously Henrietta is on the list, open to any and all suggestions

@Pigletty that is so organised. I work in a Library and so I can appreciate a sense of order.

Our hens didn’t have first names. They were all Mrs (surnames). They were quite superior ladies and wouldn’t have liked to be adressed informally

Caggie obviously!

To me, Caggie sounds far too similar to claggy - which means that something is caked in mud; or, in my part of the country, something similar-looking but considerably less pleasant than mud!

If you had five of them, I think you could do far worse than having one Bunty and four Marys Grin

Camilĺa is fairly posh I think. Don't suppose there's many working class ones. Also Persephone which is dire. Can't believe any body would call a child that. Camilla is quite a nice name though.

I know a working class Camilla. She’d be around 22 now. I remember thinking it was an odd choice of name.
