I am so stuck. I have girls' names galore, please give me nice slightly arty boys' names that won't get hugely popular in a year or two

I repeat.

Clement.

Boco · 16/03/2008 11:11

Second Clement

And bring Roman.

cadelaide · 16/03/2008 11:16

Oh yes, that's a good one.

We liked Clement for ds but weren't brave enough as people didn't seem to like it (what fools we were, pfb you see).

We really regret not going for it now, that's why i'm sat here repeating it like a nutter.

cadelaide · 16/03/2008 11:18

Of course it's inconceivable that F&Z doesn't like it.

Is she about, btw?

This thread seems to be rolling along nicely without her

Blimey i went to bed last night and this thread was going and i wake up this morning and its still rolling along
have you all been at it all night
this is THE thread to save if you EVER want slightly hippy, funky or just plain bizarre names for boys ever...we need to start a girls one

now franny is deeply confused...you did ask franny

Boco · 16/03/2008 11:23

I love Ned.

My short list is therefore

  1. Wolfie
  2. Clement (Clem)
  3. Ned
  4. Gilbert (Gil)
  5. Wilfred
  6. Stanley
  7. Fox
belgo · 16/03/2008 11:23

anyone mentioned:
Wolf(on our list)
Guy (on dh's list)

belgo · 16/03/2008 11:24

oh Boco got there first!

ahundredtimes · 16/03/2008 11:24

Yes, I know a lovely Wilf, is better than Wolf I think.

ahundredtimes · 16/03/2008 11:26

Clem is lovely. DS1 would have made a good Clem.

cadelaide · 16/03/2008 11:26

boco, that's an excellent shortlist.

i may need to have another child.

...or a puppy.
