your spellings are wrong.

Isaac or Jared.

Isaac if I have to but only so I could call him Zac.

alittlebitshy · 14/03/2008 16:42

i like isaac best but jared is nice too .(also never heard of Jared spelt jarred or isaac as issac )

bobsmum · 14/03/2008 16:42

If you want the traditional spellings I'm pretty sure it's Jared and definitely Isaac.

I love Isaac - he can be Zak/Zac when he's older.

alittlebitshy · 14/03/2008 16:42

x post with everyone else

EffiePerine · 14/03/2008 16:42

Isaac (I think it's Jared too)

bobsmum · 14/03/2008 16:43

x posts a go go

Hulababy · 14/03/2008 16:43

I prefer Isaac to Jared

Not jarred.

spiderpig · 14/03/2008 16:46

Sorry yes you are definately all right about ISAAC lol!!!!!

Though apparently there are several spellings of Jared/Jarred/Jarrod etc and Jarred is Dh's prefered spelling though I'm not sure why!

So Isaac id certainly in the lead so far

i read Jarred as in the past tense of 'to jar'

I prefer Isaac.

spiderpig · 14/03/2008 16:48

Oh my goodness I can't seem to spell or type at all today can I

you need to tell dh he's just wrong with that one - it's not a good spelling! Have you considered Adam?

RosaIsRed · 14/03/2008 16:48

In Ireland, if someone is jarred it means they are drunk. I like Isaac though.

JulesJules · 14/03/2008 16:50

Not Jarred, which means something has been put in a jar . Don't like Jared either. I quite like Isaac - but only if you spell it right!

controlfreakyagain · 14/03/2008 16:51

isaac is fine. jared is not fine. jarred is just silly.

spiderpig · 14/03/2008 16:52

Oh pmsl about Jarred meaning drunk, cannot wait to tell DH that

So any fans of Jared with one 'r' or is everone thinking Isaac is a better choice?

BTW thank you all very much for the replies so far

mrsruffallo · 14/03/2008 16:53

Is that how you are going to spell them?

bobsmum · 14/03/2008 16:53

Another problem with Jared is that it also sounds like Jarhead as in slang for US rookie soldiers I think. Hence the movie:

Jarhead

Walnutshell · 14/03/2008 16:54

Jared. With one 'r'. Quite like that, looks nice too.

Isaac is getting more popular if that bothers you.
