Girl:
Jess (not Jessica, most definitely just Jess)
Amber
Isla

Also like Lexie & Amelie but DD1&2's names end in ee sound, one is ie the other is ey - wonder if it would be too much to have another ee sound ???

Boy:
Jude

Don't like anything else for a boy so am pretty stumped there

foghorn I only know one Isla and I live in scotland where you would think it would be everywhere!

what about Eilidh
Eilish
Iona

dizzydixies · 11/03/2008 14:05

scorpio I thought you had decided on name - have I been calling her the wrong thing, am soooooooooooooo sorry if I have

fyi - Lexie means 'sparkling' in scottish which is one of the reasons why we chose it!

scorpio1 · 11/03/2008 14:06

I like Jude, Isla or Amelie
Jess sounds like something you'd call the cat

FoghornLeghorn · 11/03/2008 14:08

I also really like Ruby too but DH has vetoed that as well - I think DH is doing far too much vetoing !

OP posts:
scorpio1 · 11/03/2008 14:08

if you like Ruby for a girl, what about Rueben?

Fimbo · 11/03/2008 14:10

FoghornLeghorn · 11/03/2008 14:18

How the hell did Tim get in with that list of name ?

Don't mind Evan but DD1 starts with Ev so not sure .....

I'm sure this one is a girl - we only ever liked 1 name with each of the DD's but had quite a list of girls names and it's the same this time

OP posts:
dizzydixies · 11/03/2008 14:19

PMSL - don't go, I wasn't chasing you off I'm just throwing loads of things at the op and seem to be coming up with crappy suggestions lol

Fimbo · 11/03/2008 14:20

Ailsa is my hypothetical dd2 although dh's would be Elinor.

Boy would be Struan or Campbell.

sweetkitty · 11/03/2008 14:20
