My favourite names are the classics as well as biblical. To be honest I'd
rather they were less popular as I wouldn't want my child to be one of five in a class.

I was looking at some of the 1996 ONS names recently and think that some of the names that were on their way down back then were really nice and it's a pity they don't get used, as they are dated in a bad way now...

I reckon Beryl's about due to come back into fashion. Another ten years maybe and we'll start seeing little Beryls about.

Longer more fanciful names, especially for boys. Aurelian, Aloysius, Casimir, Cornelius, Gideon, Lysander, Percival etc.

Nooooooo!

I'm a never ending story fan and would love to meet a little Atreyu one day...not happened yet though.

I knew a baby Spike a few years ago and I thought that was the cutest name ever.

I know of an Atreyu!

For the PP who mentioned Gaylord... A few years ago, I taught a boy who had it as a middle name. He was a tiny one-pound-something premature baby, and his parents gave him an incredibly big-sounding, grand name to grow into. Along the lines of Bartholomew Gaylord Double-Barrelled Surname. I can't imagine looking at a 1lb premie and thinking of Bartholomew Gaylord!!
