Luke, Lucas or Luca?

Thinking about options for baby boy's names and love all of these but not sure which option to go for.

Older sister has a very classic four letter name beginning and ending with A...

Luke. Luca if you have Italian heritage, otherwise I’m not keen. Not a fan of Lucas.

I think AxxA and Luca are too matchy-matchy, and don't really like the sound of Lucas as much as Luke.

Luke for sure, I don’t understand the obsession with Luca and I’m not a big fan of Lucas. When I hear Lucas I think it should just be Luke.

Popularity varies from area to area. A few are saying 'Lucas is less common' but I actually know a lot of young boys called Lucas and only a couple called Luke these days (which was granted more popular when we were younger).

I do really like Lucas, but it's far more popular than the other two in my experience. I don't actually know any kids called Luca.

Luke is the most classic out of the 3, to match with your daughter's name.

Lucas & Lukas don't register where I am (fewer than 3 out of over 1000 boys in 2021). Luke is outside to top 100 names so the ONS 'by area' doesn't include it.

You can shorten Lucas to Luke. Luca seems faddy.

Luca is Italian, I wouldn't use it unless you have Italian family connections.

Lucas sounds better with A—A and has more options. Also Luke sounds short and abrupt if you are calling him or reprimanding him.

Luca is such a phased out name in my opinion, Lucas is quite nice but definitely a nay to Luca. Naying until im a horse!

it's mucus, but it does a bit.

Luca has a touch of 'named after a footballer' vibe if there's no Italian connection . I have no idea if there's a famous footballer called Luca.
