Sister said I stole the name she wanted for her baby.

I just had my first baby - he now 9 weeks old.
During my pregnancy, friends and family threw around names that they liked, but it was never a serious discussion. Towards the end of my pregnancy, my husband’s grandma passed away, whom he was very close with. When our son was born, my husband wanted to have a link for his late grandmother - and we agreed to name our boy after his grandmothers father.
when it came to telling our families, everyone was happy bar one - my younger sister. She is not pregnant, not trying for a baby, but when told of our what name we had decided to name our baby, her response was ‘oh well’ - and was followed by her expressing how she’s always wanted to call her Son by that name. Am I right in thinking WTF?

I think think it's OK for her to feel a slight pang of sadness that you have used a name she had in mind, but totally unreasonable of her to voice this in any way, and start making it about her. It's one thing thinking she likes a particular name, but so much has to happen before she could use it - she needs to be pregnant, having a boy, and have a partner who isn't called that /doesn't hate it/have a close family member with that name. She's attention seeking in my opinion.

When we were expecting,b&sil "helpfully" told us what names they were going to call their children so we wouldn't use them...not that they were TTC or married at that point: fortunately wouldn't have thought of those names in a month of Sundays, but still CFs🤣.

Reminds me of this girl a friend used to date. She was bat shit. We met them soon after the baby was born and she commented that the name I had chosen was in her list but it’s ok cause she has 9 others.
