You can call a baby Natalie or Natasha or Natalia if they are born in October, same as you can call a baby June if they are born in February, but why would you?

Why wouldn't you, if it's the name you loved the most? I can't imagine being so rigid that I'd impose such rules on my baby naming process.

Thanks all. I have shown friend the thread. She hadn’t really considered the sha sha effect of the 2 names together so is now considering Natalie Charlotte or Natasha Lottie but I think leaning more towards Natalie Charlotte. But isn’t at all bothered that the baby won’t be a Christmas baby

Bizarrely, I've just realised that all the Natalies and Natashas I know well enough to know where their birthdays are, are all born in August.

My DD is August too. I never thought about the fact it means Christmas. I just liked the name. Same with most people and the names they choose, I guess.
