Flower names for girls

Hello! I’m new here. Currently expecting our 3rd & final baby. We have two beautiful girls already - Poppy and Bluebell, and have recently found out this baby is a girl too! So we are looking for another flower name to go with Poppy and Bluebell. I’ve always loved Rose, however it I struggle because of the association with Rose West the serial killer (silly I know because the name and the flower are beautiful but I always think of her) Lily is also gorgeous but I already know lots of Lily’s. Any suggestions?
Other option we thought of is going for a jewel name as I’m named after a jewel myself, but ideally would like a flower to go with the other two 😊💜 - Please note, my other 2 girls are already named so I really don’t need to know if you don’t like their names 😹 just looking for ideas on what to call DD3, thanks in advance 🌸🩷 x

I love most flowers as names but particular favourite is Violet. It was my mum's name but she hated it. Haven't met any others until recently. A friend just gave her daughter the name Violet Emilia. I think it's beautiful 🌸

Flora, Blossom and Dahlia are all lovely, but Dahlia you have to worry about how people would pronounce and also if you think rose and rose west you might think of the Black Dahlia. Daisy is a lovely name, Zinnia, Iris, Jasmine. Aiyana is lovely too! The Meaning:Eternal flower; Forever blossoming. Aiyana as a girl's name is of Native American origin, thriving with lifelong meaning. A definition of "forever flowering," "blossoming," or "eternal flower"

Poppy and Bluebells are wildflower names, so I would favour Daisy.

Yogity · 22/07/2023 16:02

We have Iris as DDs middle name so I have a soft spot for it.
Lots of fab suggestions on this thread. I think Marigold or Daisy would be perfect with your sibling names

I know a baby dahlia. It’s gorgeous! Her mum introduces her as dar-Lee-ah so that’s how it’s pronounced.
No big deal!

purplesky18 · 22/07/2023 16:33

I have a violet it’s my favourite name in the world, so timeless. I also loved Pearl and Posey which would’ve been my 2nd if he was a girl.

SophieIsHereToday · 22/07/2023 16:44

Juniper

Grapefruit7 · 22/07/2023 16:50

Primrose is a lovely name

PoshPineapple · 22/07/2023 16:53

My DD is Flora - Roman goddess of both flowers and Spring. I loved it when we named her 25 years ago, and still love it now. We also considered Viola.

It's got to be Daisy Grin

Maireas · 22/07/2023 16:58

Daisy is quite common, unless that doesn't bother you?
I like Violet, Zinnia, Marigold and Myrtle. Not in common usage and not too "cutesy", so would suit her as she gets older.

TreasureValley · 22/07/2023 17:00

Poppy and Bluebell are two of the primary colours, so you need one connected with yellow. Daffodil? Marigold?

Or just go with Rosa.
