What boys names could be shortened to Roo/Ru?

Hey all! I absolutely love Roo/Ru for short.

Could anyone recommend any unusual boys/unisex names that could be shortened to this?

Not a fan of Ruben and would only use Rue for a girl, but you catch my drift 😉 Thank you!

Couldn’t you just nickname him Roo but give him any first name, even one that doesn’t sound anything like Roo.

Throwing in a wildcard suggestion of Joseph?

Joey and Roo both being used for a baby kangaroo, I think Roo would make a cute nickname for a baby/young boy who could then grow up into Joey/Joe/Joseph.

I know a Rui (Portuguese heritage)
Went by Roo as a small child, Rui now in his late teens.
