Middle names to go with Clementine?

We need 2 middle names to go after Clementine.

We prefer unusual names, or older names.

Any ideas?

I must say the Bong is putting me off a bit.
Makes the poor child sound like a pothead irrespective of what comes before

can we rename her Bing? Like Chandler?

WendyWeber · 24/02/2008 22:19

Ginny was the name I wanted when I was little - I used to write pony stories with me in them and I was always called Ginny.

PrincessPeaHead · 24/02/2008 22:20

pity my childbearing days are over
still next month I should have about 20 chicks running around, that should keep my naming bug satisfied

NorthernLurker · 24/02/2008 22:20

Clementine Cecily Rose Bing

Gingerbear · 24/02/2008 22:20

Not Bong - bet it is Wong really. Hah!!
Broc, you are not our antipodean correspondent's sister-in-law are you???

dizzydixies · 24/02/2008 22:20

are you going to be using full name Clementine all the time or shorten it to something else?

Hatrick - what about Hutch - it's a bit like Patch (tries to be helpful and fails horribly)

Clementine Miranda Grace Bat

Gingerbear · 24/02/2008 22:22

Aww, Wendy....
I shall call you Ginny from now on if you like, and my neighbour has a lovely nag for you to canter over the fields on if you are ever over this side of the pennines.

There are some really lovely suggestions here. I'll have to mull them over.

As an aside, at the number of replies!! I was expecting 2 or 3 if I was lucky. Nothing on the telly tonight, eh?

I think you need to have Clemantine, one syllable, three syllable, Bong.

It needs to have pace when being announced.

Imagine her being presented and the name being read out

Miss Clemantine x, xxx, bong

Miss Clematine xx, x, bong just doesn't work very well

PrincessPeaHead · 24/02/2008 22:24

Miranda another good name not used enough (don't think it works with Clementine though for some reason)
Also Caroline - 2 a penny amongst 35-45 year olds and not a single one since, but it is a great name.

NorthernLurker · 24/02/2008 22:24

Havilland obviously

lol @ bong.

Joy
Rose
Ann

yes I subscribe to the one-syllable theory too. my DD has a long first name and 1-syllable middle name.
But ignoring this completely...
Ruby
Lucy
Chloe
Megan

BroccoliSpears · 24/02/2008 22:26

Cali - Clementine Agatha Madeleine Bong sounds like the first line of a humerous poem.

ROFL @ califrau's 'Diddley diddley diddley Bong'
...and not fitting on forms.

gigglewitch · 24/02/2008 22:26

and no, nothing but wife swap on the telly, and baby names are far more fun

WendyWeber · 24/02/2008 22:27

Oh thank you GB, that sounds lovely although I suspect my cantering days are over!

You have a Patch, don't you? And so does anorak.

Whatever will hatrick do?
