I know someone who's caled Marge - I'd always assumed it was for Marjorie, but apparently she was christened Margaret.

cutekids · 22/02/2008 14:00

i can never figure out the "Peggy" one!?

nappyaddict · 22/02/2008 14:03

belgo · 22/02/2008 14:05

nappyaddict · 22/02/2008 14:06

nailpolish · 22/02/2008 14:08

maggot ????????!!!!!!

seeker · 22/02/2008 14:08

I like Margaret - and there are so many shorts that there's bound to be one that suits. Then she can be Margaret when she gets to be Governor of the Bank of England.

nappyaddict · 22/02/2008 14:11

ok does anyone like maggie-sue? be HONEST!

OP posts:
belgo · 22/02/2008 14:11

I don't really like any name with Sue as a second part. Maggie on it's own is far nicer.

nailpolish · 22/02/2008 14:12

not really. but what i think doesnt really matter does it

I always thought Kitty was short for Katherine or Kathleen (my auntie was called Kitty)

nappyaddict · 22/02/2008 14:14

it would be margaret susannah officially.

seeker · 22/02/2008 14:17

Maggie is a good strong name - Maggie-Sue sounds like a character from a Dolly Parton song.

(you did ask!)
