Kind of liking this!

DS is Finley , I feel they go nice as well?

but is it making too much of a resurgence ? Or is it still well know but not too common like some of my other fave girl names are (Elsie, Isla)

I've always liked this name and I haven't heard of a little one for years.

Velvetbee · 18/05/2023 13:10

Really pretty.

DorisElward · 18/05/2023 13:11

Love it

Pemba · 18/05/2023 13:12

A bit cutesy imo. But better than Elsie (old lady-ish) or yet another Isla. **

MyFaceIsAnAONB · 18/05/2023 13:13

Love it! Would have used it if it worked with our surname. FAR less popular than Elsie and Isla. I know multiples of each of those, an no Heidis. Finley and Heidi a bit matchy for me but the same vibe for sure.

MyFaceIsAnAONB · 18/05/2023 13:14

Oh actually I do know a Heidi but it’s pronounced ‘hay-Dee’ she’s about 40 and Finnish.

Luredbyapomegranate · 18/05/2023 13:26

I don’t like it personally, but it’s getting popular

Koalawhala · 18/05/2023 14:51

I know a little Heidi, I think it’s nice and not too popular at all

Berlinlover · 18/05/2023 14:52

I’ve always loved it.

Unicorn2022 · 18/05/2023 14:53

I've always loved the name Heidi

JadeSeahorse · 18/05/2023 14:54

Lovely!

Rauha · 18/05/2023 14:55

I don't like it at all but it's definitely popular again.

shoopshoopdedoo · 18/05/2023 15:24

I really dislike it, but have seen a lot of love for it on these boards recently, so I’m in the minority!

PearPartridge · 18/05/2023 15:29

I've always liked this.

FayCarew · 18/05/2023 15:36

It seems very popular on here but the darkgreener chart doesn't reflect that - fairly constant on there.

Teawithnosugarplease · 18/05/2023 15:55

I absolutely love it! One my favourite names ( as long as it's not spelt with an "e" on the end )

Noorandapples · 18/05/2023 16:01

Beautiful name!

ourflagmeansdeath · 18/05/2023 17:27

So beautiful, I love it. Finley and Heidi make a great set

PickledScrump · 18/05/2023 19:16

I really don’t like it, no major reason just find it ugly. Oddly I know of more Heidi’s than Isla and Elsie’s combined. So definitely gaining popularity.

Londonlady1423 · 18/05/2023 20:37

I know one in her 50s,
I think the name is ok, not my favourite but not offensive. If you like it go for it, I'm not a fan of Elsie but do like Isla despite its popularity

DramaAlpaca · 18/05/2023 21:12

Heidi is twee, not my style at all. Neither is Elsie, which is both dowdy and twee. I like Isla, but it's everywhere.

PearPartridge · 19/05/2023 08:47

I think the classic Heidi of the Alps has kept it seeming a name suited to a young person rather than becoming dated.

PearPartridge · 19/05/2023 08:54

Especially because it is constantly remade as a film or series for every generation.

HeidiWhole · 19/05/2023 09:06

I like it Grin

sunshineandmango · 19/05/2023 17:41

I really like it! Not keen on the nn options though (not that it needs one, but the ones I know get shortened to Heids or Dee)
