quite like september and gypsy. i always think tiger lily is a funny one cos tiger is a boy's name and lily is a girl's name.

haha when i was pg with dd1 i heard a woman in the waiting room for a scan shout "alabama will you leave atlanta alone and bring gorgia a drink she is thirsty!!" i ked ye not! i just wonder if she called her next one texas or california?

I know of children named Starsky, Little Twinkle, Dusty (a boy!), Cruise, loads of others.
Ocean is actually reasonably common- ie not just 2 in UK.

I have come across a Tia Maria, a Tionree (an homage to Thierry Henri I think) a Deandray (pronounced Day - ondray)and a Cevell.

There was a boy at DS1's nursery called Quaid, also a Mackay (said mack-eye)ALso DN has middle name Bluestar

i hadn't heard the name ocean before my friend called her daugher it. at first i thought it was a bit way-out-there but now its a normal name, you kinda get acclimatised when you see them everyday.
apparently my friend was just toying with the name, but when the baby was born her dh knocked on all the doors to spread the news that the baby had been born, and she was called ocean, so they sort of just went with it. ocean will be 3 tomorrow and the name really suits her.
Also came across another 'ocean' in a shop in mevagissy, who must have been about the same age.
unusual names seem to be like busses, you don't know one for ages then 2 come along at once

Ocean could be a mis hearing of Osian- which is a not unusual given name in Wales. I went to school with a boy called Osian and never once considered it odd.
