Lucia ?

Clio?

HonoriaGlossop · 11/02/2008 23:10

surely it has to be Lucretia as suggested earlier? Love that name for a kitten it has just the right suggestion of prettiness AND menace

yes I suggested carmela/carmella as it's sopranos-esque

but also like Contessa, Fabio sounds like her personal trainer then (although Contessa does make me think of a range of underwear)

what about Grizabella, like in CATS the musical, could be Bella for short?

or Bombalurina

NatalieJane · 12/02/2008 09:03

Crapola, or is that too last year?
Serena?

I was thinking about this last night, opened my book and it had a spanish name which led to me laying there, thinking about Italian names, and a cat that comes when it's called...

DualCycloneCod · 12/02/2008 10:31

Our ex-cat was named Bella when we first got her (because she was beautiful - yes, we are twats). Then gradually noticed a certain growth in the area beneath its tail. When it was obviously a huge pair of balls we changed his name to Henry.

Still on Italian theme (why btw?). If one of your sons likes Sophie why not Sophia.

Or Grazia [grin[

I think Contessa is fabulous though

GetOutOfMoiKnickers · 12/02/2008 17:36

oh ffs call it Mary

You can't go out of the house yelling Donatella, Lucrezia or frigging Venezia, along with Fabio, unless you dress the part in maribou trimmed mule slippers and false eyelashes. And have a gin problem.

DualCycloneCod · 12/02/2008 17:37

can we have a PETNAMES category?

GetOutOfMoiKnickers · 12/02/2008 17:41

My mum (stupidly) gave my brother carte blanche to names their new cat when he was about 13. He decided to call it Fart Face.

Cat names - asking for trouble.

PrincessPeaHead · 12/02/2008 18:54

I had a cat called Kenzo, named when I was about 12
Pretentious, moi?!! But actually it was an excellent name for a cat.

To continue the fashion designer theme, how about Fendi? Fabio and Fendi.... she could be Fendi the Bendy Cat ha ha

GreatGooglyMoogly · 12/02/2008 19:53

Gucci
