Why does a cat need a name?

They don't answer to it.

Whizzz · 11/02/2008 19:09

at misplaced apostrophe. Should've been girls' names obv.

NatalieJane · 11/02/2008 19:11

OMG, a car, with a name?

I thought we were a sensible lot on here

(My sister used to call her car Strawberry. Because it was red )

NatalieJane · 11/02/2008 19:12

You had a cat that answered to it's name?

Well I never....!

Hassled · 11/02/2008 19:13

We had a Bella. She packed her bags and left/got cat-napped/run over. She spent her time before that trying to kill me by tripping me up on the stairs. SHe wasn't Bella Lasagne, though which might make all the difference. You could just call her Mrs Price and then the other one Norman.
How about something classical - Hera, Athena, Venus, Medusa, Ariadne, Persephone (OK some of these are all Greek to me but some might be Roman)? Or a bit too poncey?
