Did you use it wish you used it it or a saving it for the future?

Lachlan, which I called our first DS. I always adored the name Nathan too but was the name of one of my exes which ruined it slightly 😂

Quentin and Raphael

Also my favourite. I didn’t use it, bit too French but such an excellent name.

Unlike girls' names, I struggle to pinpoint one boy's name that I loved the most.

My favourites, in no particular order: Reuben, Astile, Clement, Wren, Jasper, Noah, Jude, Elias, Rafferty, Gabriel.

DH's favorites: Brandon, Brett, Cedric, Frederick, Hector, Kubo, Linus, Quinn, Ragnar - I don't even like any of these, let alone love.

It's just as well we had a girl and aren't planning on having any more...

Ambrose

Is your son Ambrose by any chance? I have a friend who's nephew is called Ambrose and I'd never heard it before

KnickerlessParsons · 10/03/2023 23:43

Meredydd. Or David.

Ifulikepinacoladas · 10/03/2023 23:45

Joe, used it and love it still 15 years on.

Anskl · 10/03/2023 23:47

James...I loved that name too, always thought I'd use it for a boy. Ended up engaged to someone called James, now an ex. Put me off the name for life.

Luca. Ended up with a far more conventional boys name, still wish I had gone for it

Friarclose · 10/03/2023 23:55

My sons name - Alistair. Its been my name for a boy since I was really young. He really suits it too
