Do the names work together? Does it come off as a bit matchy and themed or do they sound nice together?

Flora and Clover?

Two margarines

Agree with pp that having two product names isn’t great. Both lovely names though.

Luredbyapomegranate · 03/03/2023 21:54

They sound great. Go for it.

Meredusoleil · 03/03/2023 22:09

Such a great combination 😍

Like a pp said, both Italian names and meaning star 🌟 and flower 💐

MrsBlueFly · 03/03/2023 22:11

Those names are both from Winx Club - names of fairys- my girls loved the cartoon!

HeddaGarbled · 03/03/2023 22:11

I think they’re lovely.

Meredusoleil · 03/03/2023 22:14

Or how about Stella and Luna instead (star and moon)?

Firkinhavinalaugh · 03/03/2023 22:16

I’m not sure I’d have both together but both are lovely. Gas Flora become “trendy” then?

Firkinhavinalaugh · 03/03/2023 22:17

Has 🤦‍♀️
mans I know Stella was popular - guessing because of Stella Mcartney?

(so out the loop!)

mathanxiety · 03/03/2023 22:18

I think they're both gorgeous names and go really well together.

Choccyoclocky · 03/03/2023 22:19

Stella and Flora are both main characters in the Netflix series The Winx Saga which came out a couple of years ago, there were 2 seasons. They were my immediate thoughts when I saw the title. Followed by alcohol and butter.

I don't think they flow very well though. But i do like the name Flora.

Gemls3123 · 03/03/2023 22:20

Sounds like beer and flowers to me. Set up for a party. But no …. Genuinely beautiful names x

Stella is more confident for a grown woman but both are lovely names.

Lovely together

Billslills · 04/03/2023 09:19

I absolutely adore the name Stella.

daisypond · 04/03/2023 09:34

I like both names a lot, but I might not call siblings them for being matchy-twee. But I like both names so much, I could overlook that. Stella is not dated! It’s quite current. I know a few younger ones, up to about age 13. Flora is not try hard either. It’s a normal, classy name.

evemillbank · 04/03/2023 09:35

Sounds a bit like a shopping list

Maireas · 04/03/2023 09:39

Stella is a lovely name, not over used.
Flora - just no.
How about Florence?.

Riverlee · 04/03/2023 09:41

WhisperingAutistic · 03/03/2023 19:14

Sounds like a shopping list
Lager and margarine

My first thought was beer and margarine also.

Itawapuddytat · 04/03/2023 12:49

There is a series of French "Cloak and Dagger" novels by Michel Zevaco, "Les Pardaillants". Stella and Flora are two characters in a couple of these novels ( not major ones), two sisters, Flora dies tragically on a pyre and Stella survives in the end. I remember reading the series as a teen and I remember them very well ( I liked both names)

DurdleSnore · 04/03/2023 18:55

I agree about the butter and beer comments I’m afraid. I like Flora but paired with something else like Beatrice or Harriet perhaps. Not another flower name or product name.

StellaKinsella · 04/03/2023 18:58

I like the name Stella (haha)

I love the name Flora, much prefer it to Florence.

Figrolls14 · 04/03/2023 19:10

They are lovely names. Is it because you like Cold Comfort Farm?

ourflagmeansdeath · 04/03/2023 19:21

Lovely!!! No issue at all

Enko · 05/03/2023 02:03

Like them both and don't think they are too matchy

BasiliskStare · 05/03/2023 03:28

Not once would I think of lager and margarine.

I love the name Stella - I think it is timeless and suits young and old. I do like Flora as well .

I would do it @Daisychained8

great choices
All best to you
