What are your thoughts on Fleur for a girls name?

As a northerner unfortunately saying the name sounds like a noise I would make prior to vomiting.

I adore this name

So, my name is Fleur. I am fifty years old next week, so I have some expertise in relation to your question! When I was growing up, unusual names were extremely uncommon, and I hated my name. However, I have NEVER met a new person in my entire life who hasn't said "What a pretty name!," or "I love your name!" and, as an adult I am now very happy my parents didn't chose a boring name for me.
Just a side note, it annoys me when websites say it's a French name. It's a French word, but not a French name. My brother married a French girl and I have visited the country many times and, whenever I meet a new French person, they think it's very funny that my name is Flower!

It's a beautiful name and will sound good from baby to adult. If you like it @17caterpillars1mouse go for it.

Very pretty and unusual. Very unlikely to be another Fleur in her class/school.
