I have posted on here before asking for help naming baby, she is 10 days old now and still has no name, not even a short list.
We already have:
Rowan Arthur
Sebastian George
Dylan Emily
Please help me find a name.

But back to name suggestions - I second pp’s suggestions of Morgan and Robyn. They are a similar style to Dylan for a girl.

Not the first time I’ve seen LaLuz make unnecessarily unkind comments on name threads, without bothering to add anything helpful. They’re a sad little person who appears to enjoy being rude for fun.

Such a shame that people like this feel the need to act this way

Swingingonastar77 · 28/01/2023 11:01

I love Robyn

Persephone (Percy for a girl bloody brilliant!)

Wow thanks to those who shamed our name choices, much appreciated!
Dylan is, infact a girl, she is 10 now and absolutely loves her name and until now, we havent encountered any nasty comments.

We do like unisex names but it isn't a must at all neither is the ending.

I love some of the suggestions especially Morgan, Claudia, Martha I might be starting a short list.
Thank you for all suggestions I will come back and read properly.

Morgan? Hayden?

Dylan is a unisex name

Dylan isn't a unisex name. It's a boy's name that's been given to a girl.

Dylan is a gorgeous name for a girl. We have a Harriet but she thinks it is too girly so she is known as Harri

Are you looking for middle names too or have you got one already?

Morgan is a beautiful name, I think that would suit quite well.

I can never think of middle names unless I see a last name so in no help there 😂

But I think Elizabeth, Anne, are nice as middle names but are quite common I've found.

I'm trying to find names for my 3rd baby - I've already got 2 boys but not finding out gender on number 3 so will be a surprise.

Naming gets harder the more children you have 😭😭

Exactly!

@LaLuz7 @KirstenBlest

Get over it.

flowersinmyhair15 · 28/01/2023 11:32

@KirstenBlest

No - Dylan is a unisex name - if you don't agree with it then just leave the thread because your negative comments regarding a child's name are irrelevant just like @LaLuz7 so you both don't need to take the time to comment.
Because literally no one cares for your opinion.

LaLuz7 · 28/01/2023 11:33

flowersinmyhair15 · 28/01/2023 10:34

@LaLuz7 you can't just assume and be an arsehole telling people they shouldn't given certain names to their children.

Not your child so your opinion is irrelevant and unnecessary.

Yet my assumption has just been proven correct. I stand by what I said.

If I were a girl who was given a male name I would assume my parents wanted a boy and were disappointed so went ahead with a male name out of spite.

Giving girls male names (but never the other way around) tells them masculinity as a trait is valuable and desirable over femininity. It's inherently mysoginistic.

Mariposista · 28/01/2023 11:33

Sounds like she secretly wanted a boy

Outfor150 · 28/01/2023 11:34

Dylan is not a unisex name. It’s a male name that is being used for a girl. That doesn’t make it unisex.

KirstenBlest · 28/01/2023 11:35

@flowersinmyhair15 , you obviously do care about my opinion or you wouldn't have posted.

I read the OP and thought why has Dylan got a girl's name for a middle name.

LaLuz7 · 28/01/2023 11:36

Not so secretly.
