I'm after some thoughts on Seth, I'm really drawn to it. Simple, handsome sounding, adapatable, carries well. Would be grateful for general thoughts of others? Thanks

I've always disliked it.
For me as pp have mentioned, It reminds me of snakes- Maybe something from Jungle book and that snake, sounds silly I know

Paintblue · 11/01/2023 19:53

For a reason I can’t explain Seth reminds me of Slitherin and Snakes 🐍🤷🏻‍♀️

GlassOnions · 11/01/2023 19:54

Sloth

Largethighsbadeyes · 11/01/2023 19:58

Love it!

It was on my shortlist but OH vetoed by stealing the friends line "I'm sorry...are we having an 89 year old?!"

Nob 😅

Largethighsbadeyes · 11/01/2023 19:59

I don't see the snakes thing at all I think that's quite a reach

SilentHedges · 11/01/2023 20:20

No, Seth sounds lispy and slithery.

Compared with something like Ash, one syllable, which sounds warm and is a nice word to say.

ShillyShallySherbet · 11/01/2023 20:21

Love it! An unusual but great strong name, which are hard to come by.

LadyMonicaBaddingham · 11/01/2023 20:23

One of my favourite pupils ever was called Seth (yes, I know we're not supposed to have favourites, but 😛)

That's why it reminds me of snakes
It reminds me of when Harry spoke in Parceltongue!

piedbeauty · 11/01/2023 20:59

I like it!

HangoverSquare · 11/01/2023 21:32

Makes me think of a little puff of air. A gentle little fart. A tiny sigh. A barely perceptible burp.

I much prefer Saul.

peaceinourtime · 12/01/2023 01:07

it's a lovely name, go for it.

Nicecow · 12/01/2023 01:21

I don't know why but it sounds like a name for a Villan

Purplemagnolias · 12/01/2023 10:15

The sound sounds so lispy ans slippery

Blendandmix · 12/01/2023 10:31
