I'm after some thoughts on Seth, I'm really drawn to it. Simple, handsome sounding, adapatable, carries well. Would be grateful for general thoughts of others? Thanks

Seth...It's one of the, if not THE ugliest sounds...

Purplemagnolias · 11/01/2023 15:30

Imagine people/non English speakers trying to say it... Sess?!

Otterleaf · 11/01/2023 15:32

I like it. Also thought of the OC.

LulooLemon · 11/01/2023 15:42

It's a great name

Blowyourowntrumpet · 11/01/2023 15:59

Love it.

I hate it. It's lispy, slithery and reminds me of snakes for some reason. A very big no.

I feel exactly the same about Seth. Very snakey. Not sure why!

jays · 11/01/2023 16:02

It reminds me of Adam Brody’s character Seth Cohen from the OC and I absolutely loved him! Loved that name ever since!

WinterFoxes · 11/01/2023 16:03

I like it. It's short and cool and from the bible!

That’s a seriously F’d up post. On all levels.

PrancerandDancer · 11/01/2023 16:09

DD would have been a Seth, I like it. Not many about either

Crackedmosaic · 11/01/2023 16:12

My DS is a Seth and I love it.

IHeartGeneHunt · 11/01/2023 16:16

Non English speakers? Seth isn't an English name.

I like it, it was on my list if I had a boy.

Given that it's a name from the bible and an Indian surname, many nationalities won't say it as Sess.

Longdarkcloud · 11/01/2023 18:02

I, too find it hard to say and imagine if your DS was born with a lisp.
How about Silas or Heath.

teaandtoastwithmarmite · 11/01/2023 11:03

I love it. DD probably would have been called it had she been a boy. I think of Seth from the OC

Me too!

NellietheNumpty · 11/01/2023 18:06

I like it and also Amos and Saul.

TheOtherBoleynGirls · 11/01/2023 18:07

Absolutely love it, along with Saul, but sadly I have a lisp so both names were no goes for us - use it!

shewolfsout · 11/01/2023 18:07

Lovely soft boys name. It gets a yes vote from me

Me too, it sounds evil, like if the devil himself dressed in human form for the day, he would be called Seth. It’s odd because I have a very judgy-churchy friend who has a DS called Seth and it is a bible name.

ShakeYourFeathers · 11/01/2023 18:25

I quite like Seth! I also think of the OC. Great character and I loved that show

Mol1628 · 11/01/2023 18:36

I really like it and would consider it if I had another boy.

OwwwMuuuum · 11/01/2023 18:38

Pretty sure churchy friend called her DS Seth after the OC too 😆

IWantToBeACat · 11/01/2023 18:40

I like it! Seth Green, yum yum! 😍

wingsofabird · 11/01/2023 18:43

Love it

MissVantaBlack · 11/01/2023 18:47

When I see the name Seth, I always think seething (with rage, jealousy etc). Sorry OP!
