Help, she’s here but doesn’t have a name

Really struggling as we’ve either used our favourites or have family/close friends who’ve used them.

Need something short, unfussy to match siblings.

Names we kind of agree are a maybe:
lsla, Lara, Ava, Lyla, Kayla.

I also like Erin and Cara. He doesn’t.

He likes Clara and Layla. I dont.

We’re not miles apart really, but can’t find a solution. Probably because we’re overthinking it, but none stick out as feeling ‘right’.

Any thoughts/suggestions please. Any advice if you didn’t really have a favourite or couldn’t agree with partner so had to settle on a ‘maybe’ name. Did you grow to love it? Do you still have second thoughts?

@oopsnowits4 she’s so adorable! I think you should go for Isla, Ava, or Leila (instead of Lyla). Not keen on Kayla. Your DH’s choice of Clara is SO close to Lara and Cara so I‘m not sure why you vetoed that. Maybe go for Leila/Lyla because your DH said Layla which you vetoed. I much prefer Leila (lie-la) to Layla anyway!

DS2 we ended up with DH's preference that I thought was ok but not sold on. He hated mine but when it came yo DS4 didn't have any of the objections for it, so I think he was just set on DS2s name. Ds2 is 15 now, he suits it well.

I'll suggest Evelyn, Annabelle, Billie, Sylvie and Iris.

Lara is by miles the best of your 'sort of agree on' names. It's beautiful, classic, not overly common and works well for both child and adult.
