I love that it’s such a marmite name! Half the people love it and half hate it. I think this makes me like it more? When people say ‘it’s fine’ or if everyone loves a name it sort of puts me off. I feel like ‘oh, it’s bland’ or ‘it will become too popular.’ I bet Silas will never be one of several in the classroom based on these reactions… which is a bit positive IMO !
I also think of the murderer in Hollyoaks , which was actually my fire though too when I wondered about using it… but I don’t think a Hollyoaks storyline from 15 odd years ago should make too much of an impact on my decision 😁 plus I do love a good serial killer story. I’m in it more for the biblical Silas!
