Okay, I have quite specific requirements for baby girl 2 but haven't come across "the one" yet.

I like: Amber, Phoebe, Matilda,

I like names that are easily spelled/pronounced, but not top 10, have a little bit of an edge and could stand the test of time. Ideally around 5-8 letters and not end in the letter Y.

The problem is "spunky" is so subjective. I would have said Matilda is the opposite of spunky but it depends on if you've met a Matilda before and her personality.

Are you not aware of Roald Dahl’s Matilda?!

Tempany is a name I hadn’t heard until recently, I thought is was a lovely name.

It’s the massive drum in an orchestra- the Timpani!

Susan or Susannah, Penelope, Astrid, Gwen, Jemima. Judy They all seem like the names of spunky girl heroines in books.
