Isabelle, Isabel or Isobel.

Which spelling do you prefer? Thanks!

Isobel is by far the best.

Isabelle I don't like at all.

What about the Scottish Ishbel? I think it's so pretty and a bit different from the popular Isobel / Isabella.

Isabel seems unfinished to me as I'm more used to Isabelle.

Isobel is my favourite (I'm Scottish and that's what looks nicest to me). Isabelle is my least favourite.

Depends what you mean with IRL

In French speaking countries Isabelle is definitely pronounced with the emphasis on the BELLE.

In Germany there is also a very clear difference between how people pronounce ISA-bel and isa-BELLE.

One is a French spelling and therefore pronounced like that.

I gave my dd a name that had more than one spelling. I waited until after all the new born cards were received and looked at how others had spelt her name. Fortunately 80% had chosen one way and 20% the other - I went with the more favoured spelling

I like Isabelle best.

Yes possibly but it's unlikely as especially in Scotland its a very well known name,
Same way you could potentially mispronounce Isabel and Isabelle as Isa bel like 'fixed term ISA' bel
