My dd2 is Freya....Norse Goddess of Love and also where the word Friday comes from...made sense to call her that as she was born on a Friday!

I love Constance too.
Esmerelda (Esme)
Elfreda (Freddie) - quite cute for a girl.

My dd is a Sorrel.

Flowery but sensible-sounding, I thought. I've never met another.

thefunkypea · 25/01/2008 20:39

Freya v popular now, seems that every baby not called Sophie is a Freya!

Hulababy · 25/01/2008 20:42

I love all of them.

I think all but Martha are probably in the top 100, and Martha is being more popular. However, from those 4 in RL I actually only know 2 Olivias, and none of the others.

Eloise
Hermione
Venetia
Claudia
Esme
Isabelle
Penelope

SASKIA is a beautiful name; the Saskia I knew at school was completely gorgeous and talented.

PurplePillow · 25/01/2008 20:46

My two favourite names for girls at the moment are:-

Mariska
Camryn

Hope that helps and doesn't confuse more!

Since it is similar to Martha I thought I would mention I love the name Margot but DH didn't .

I know a fair few Olivias Daisys and Poppys (one of my DDs is one of those). If you did really like one of those then I would go for it (just had this conversation on a boys name thread of my own). I remember not long ago when nearly all little girls seemed to be called Lily, now I don't know any

Some nice suggestions on here though
