Statistics on most popular names in recent times here

I love Brianna for a girl myself

shabster · 22/01/2008 23:34

Right - I have decided - I am going to be called Cariad Martha! I have lost the thread here havent I? So glad my FIL liked me and Cariad didnt mean 'you are a pain in the butt' He also used to sing Sosphan Vach (excuse the rubbish spelling) even tho he didnt speak welsh. I will change shabster to Cariad Martha - and I will always say it in a south welsh accent - theres lovely xx

Catriona's an excellent name (As long as you pronounce it "Catrina" )
This is a good website if you're searching for names of a certain origin.
The names in the OP are nice but maybe not if you want something a little different.

ingles2 · 24/01/2008 22:45

Elisa is the nicest name I've come across recently and would consider if I ever had another DD. It's a bit unusual but still normal IYSWIM.

Alishanty · 25/01/2008 13:42

They are all nice names but I prefer Martha the most. Definitely not as common as the others.
If I have a girl I am thinking of Esme.

belgo · 25/01/2008 13:45

Prefer Martha to any of the others.

Just read the OP, I'd say they were all quite popular names, especially poppy and daisy, I know loads of them, I dont know any martha's and I know a few Olivias.
