This is a name I have always liked and have only realised it's increasing popularity since using MN. We already refer to the bump as Tilly so will probably struggle to change it now but I always wanted a name that was bit different!

How many do you know?

All the names I like seem to be pretty popular so I obviously completely lack imagination. So also, how BAD is it to have a very popular name?

Sorry if this has been done before, it's been a long week so haven't spent time searching the archive.

Lovely name.

Don't know any little ones but I do know one in her late 30s, known as Mattie.

If you're worried about it being too popular, how about another name that could be shortened to Tilly, like Ottilie?

My 11yr old daughter is called Tilly.
We did think about calling her Matilda but realised it would be shortened to Tilly anyway, so why not just call her Tilly from the start. She is the only Tilly in her school.

Her second name is Alisha. Her nick names are Tils or Tilda.

A friend of mine has called her 6yr old Tilly.

I love the name.
My other daughters are called;
Becky-Faye
Holly Rose-Ellen
Phoebe Olivia
