Violette, Juliette or Vivienne?

Hello everyone! We are having a daughter and we need advice on the names Violette, Juliette and Vivienne, because we cannot choose. I'm open to other name suggestions as well. I'm French but I live in London so all names should preferably be French! DD1 is called Mathilde Pénélope and DS is called Théodore Louis. Middle name suggestions would also be helpful!

Juliette is my favourite

I love clemence when it's spoken in French it's such a beautiful name x
Out of those I like Vivienne because it's the nearest to Genevieve which i also love

Vivienne

It fits in with how girls are being named now e.g. name from early 20th century and is French.

RedWingBoots · 29/07/2022 14:33

Middle names Isabelle, Florence, Charlotte...

All lovely names OP. I slightly prefer Vivienne and Juliette but they are all beautiful.

Apologies, but I cannot seem to get the accents on the letters to work.
Some more suggestions, although I love Juliette

Helena
Josephine
Aimee
Rosalia (love this as it is my French grandmothers name)

I think Elisabeth is a lovely middle name

Vivienne

DramaAlpaca · 29/07/2022 15:04

If it was up to me, I'd call her Juliette Elisabeth.

SalviaOfficinalis · 29/07/2022 15:04

I love Vivienne, really strong, distinguished name and goes well with your other DC’s name.

AncientMariner · 29/07/2022 15:05

Violette!! Also I love that spelling.
I like Vivienne aswell though.

IrisVersicolor · 29/07/2022 15:10

Violette by miles. It goes much better with your other names

Vivienne in the U.K. is very Essex. Juliette is dull.

darlingdodo · 29/07/2022 15:13

Vivienne. Beautiful name.

Violette by miles. The name Vivienne always makes me think of Vyvyan Basterd, Ade Edmonson's character from the Young One's - obviously showing my age there!

midsomermurderess · 29/07/2022 16:22

Vivienne. The others are a bit, I don’t know, simpering.

I actually know a Violette and a Vivienne in rl - neither of them are Essex.

greatblueheron · 29/07/2022 16:57

Love all the names, especially Vivienne.

Also like Emmeline, Delphine, Joelle and Genevieve.

WaltzingWaters · 29/07/2022 17:01

Personally don’t like Vivienne, sounds very stuck up to me, sorry 😬 but I love Juliette. Violette is nice too.

PoundPill · 29/07/2022 17:13

I like them all but if I had to choose then Juliette as seems more positive in some way to me

Aquaticshark11 · 29/07/2022 17:18

All 3 names go nicely with Mathilde and Théodore so you can't go wrong really. I would choose Violette as it's the most unusual and the nicest in my opinion.

Madeleine would be a nice middle name option.
