What's the most unusual baby name that you've encountered recently?

I mean real names not La-A and Lemonjello or Chlamydia or other urban legends.

A friend in the U.S has called her baby son, Sundance. I rather like it in a way though I was taken aback at first.

I met a McLaren recently too, not as unusual as Sundance but not something that you encounter every day either.

I actually have a cousin called Tuesday too

Boden, Tabitha, Remi, Albany, Avalon and Harley-Blue.
My son (32) is called Cassian.

I know a Cove and a Crew.

Beaux for a girl. A masculine plural.
I suspect they think it’s French for a hair decoration.
They are family so I am keeping my thoughts to myself.

I know a 16 year old Bliss. Absolutely love it as a name.

I met a cute little Thorfinn years ago. I think it’s a relatively common name in his native Orkney.

I taught an Io. Beautiful name. She was a nymph in Greek mythology.

I came across a Reliance recently, fab name but hard to live up to. Definitely a naming tradition I appreciate.

It’s been mentioned a few times already but I also know of a Pebbles.
Also a girl called Murphy which I thought was unusual.
And probably the most unusual I’ve heard, a little boy called Egyptian.

I don’t personally know of any Birdies but that’s one of those names I love but would never be brave enough to use.

Google for a boy, not English but as far as I could find out it also wasn't a name from his culture either

I don't like Mc- or Mac- names for girls because it makes no sense, 'son of'.
