Thoughts on Jo as a middle name?

We are about to have our daughter any time now, and her name is going to be Daisy.

We love her first name, but we’re still deliberating over whether we love her middle name - we have chosen Jo because we feel it kind of balances out the more feminine ‘Daisy’ quite well, and also because we’re both big literature buffs and her name is inspired by the characters Daisy from Daisy Miller and Jo from little women, but what are your opinions on the name Daisy Jo? My worry is that it possibly sounds a bit like a deep southern cowgirl… but I also kind of love it.

Our last name is two syllables btw, sorry can’t give much more info than that! Any opinions are welcome!

Ah I think people are being a little harsh about Daisy - Jo - last name

I agree most middle names get lost in the mix - but just longer nametapes at school.

OP hasn't said Daisy-Jo it's a middle name . Apart from being on his passport and when we got married I am not sure anyone has said DH's middle name out loud

You don't HAVE to have a middle name. Just saying. If a name doesn't suggest itself and you're not double barrelling, why bother hunting for one?

I think Jo is fine as a middle name.

Daisy Ruth
Daisy Blythe
Daisy June
