Hey, just curious if we have any baby name envy members on these baby name threads

if so what do you think of SJ and naomi?!

i personally really enjoy the podcast and youtube

Like most, I opened this assuming you were considering naming a poor child 'Envy' - as it is 'Baby names'

Then, I thought you wanted to know what people thought of the names SJ and Naomi.

I was wondering if all siblings would have deadly sin names

This is where my mined was going too.

Can't believe that anyone would be so ridiculous as to pay a "Baby name Consultant" . I mean, really ??

i'm aware that it is baby names hence why i'm talking about a baby name podcast

it's the same thing, she's quite well known and gives good ideas, so people write to her for advice and she makes videos and podcasts about her

I listen, since just before I started expecting. I like it, but agree some names are a bit crazy.

I love the SJ and Naomi dynamic and am heartbroken to hear about naomi’s cancer diagnosis. Really upset for her.

I'm surprised by the reaction you're getting on here, OP. I haven't listened to Baby Name Envy personally but I did hear SJ interviewed on the Made by Mammas podcast a while ago and thought what she had to say was really interesting. She came up with some quite thoughtful suggestions for someone based on their criteria for a baby name.

Like you, I would have thought that the Baby Name board on Mumsnet would attract people with a general interest in names and baby name trends. It's a fairly logical conclusion to think you might come across listeners to the BNE podcast on such a board.

However, I can only conclude that this board is mainly frequented by those who just like having an opportunity to pour scorn on names such as Nevaeh and Kayden.

The reaction the OP got was because her post was worded and punctuated badly, so people didn’t understand what she was talking about. She also seems to have assumed people would have heard of this podcast or SJ and Naomi, when it’s clear no one/hardly anyone has.
