Think I've gone off our baby's name!

Baby girl due in the next few weeks, since finding out we were expecting and then 100% decided when we found out she was a girl we have decided on the name Millie- to the point we've not got a back up. I still like the name but for some reason these last couple of weeks I feel like I'm not 100%. I don't know if this is just FTM last minute panicking 😂. If not, any similar suggestions? Her middle name will 100% be Eliza x

I like Millie. I only knew of one growing up (although it was a nickname for Amelia).I much prefer Millie/Milly to the many of the other suggestions PP's have given. If you prefer the name Millie to Amelia then go for that as the name, a lot of posters on here have some old-fashioned view that people can't have shortened names as their actual name, but if it's the name you want I say go for it!

Eliza is lovely.

I'm an Eleanor and went my Ellie/Eleanor as a kid and teen. I'm grateful for the fact I've got Eleanor on my bc.

Wait until baby is here and see what she looks like. It might be she fits the name or she doesn't.

Don't worry about any personalised stuff others have bought. Millie is a popular name, they can sell it on.

We've just named our baby girl Millie but have names her Emilia on her birth certificate so she has a longer option too

Millie is a lovely name on its own, but perhaps if it was short for a longer name it would give more options? Camilla, Millicent, Amelia, Emily, Romilly?

Alternatively how about Lily, Marnie, Chloe, Annie, Kizzy, Naomi, Suzy, Bethany, Ivy, Lucy, Poppy, Katie, Holly?

Totally agree that Millie should be a NN.
